EuRho® Vital Prenatal DHA contains microalgea oil from the microalgae schizochytrium sp. that is rich in the essential omega-3 fatty acid DHA.
DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and to normal vision. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA.
Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the foetus and breastfed infants. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake for omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e.: 250 mg DHA and EPA.
