EuRho® Vital Red Yeast Rice provides 10 mg monacolin K per capsule from natural fermentation.
Red rice yeast has been used for centuries in Asia as a traditional medicine, but also as food colouring. To produce it, normal rice is fermented with a special yeast fungus: the red rice yeast. This fermentation produces, among other things, monacolin K.
Monacolin K from red yeast rice contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 10 mg of monacolin K from fermented red yeast rice preparations and thus with one EuRho® Vital Red Yeast Rice capsule.
